I’m Shaun ( not Shawn or Sean, no, no, it’s Shaun spelled with a “U” )

In 2008, living in a small town in Newfoundland, Canada, I got my first Internet Marketing (IM) Gig working in my first company.

I had convinced a local BMW dealership to spend $1000 a month on Google Ads.

Fast forward, 6 months later, we spent $1276 on average a month and was selling a BMW every month.

I didn’t realize the business potential of IM up until this point and this was the spark that would ignite my career in IM.

Since then…I’ve gritted my way through 3 businesses, a decade of client work, and this year, on point to have a 6-figure consulting business.

I’m a bit of a geek, techie, and a marketer and I sell but I’m not a sales men.

The realizations that I had with the online work that I do with clients is that first-off, there are a heck of a lot of Author/Entrepreneurs i.e; Authorpreneurs on Linkedin like you…

Then the next thing I realized is that this audience is being underserved by publishers promising things that publishers don’t do…

Market your books, and build your author platform.

If you are published on Amazon, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, or on the shelves of every major book store retailer…

but you’ve never ran an online campaign on Facebook or Google, to build your Author platform, or ran a campaign targeting buyer/reviewers to give you online reviews…

Then you aren’t monetizing your message as an Authorpreneur.

You are leaving money on the table.

The biggest realization for me in working with Authorpreneurs who are small business owners, like yourself, is that you have the message, education, and ideas to change the world offline, but might be virtually invisible online…

like on the biggest book retail site, Amazon.

If you aren’t there, you are missing out, big time.

I was also surprised by the conversations I’d have with Authorpreneurs who worked with publishers, or marketing agencies who had confused them with shiny lights based around in-person book launches, celebrity editorial reviews, and retail bookshelf space…

Which really does nothing to increase visibility, and sales of your book listings online.

Some clients had shared with me that they had spent upwards of over $100,000 on publishing their book…and then barely any book sales, no fans, or results from working with these publishers…

So, after my experiences working with hundreds of clients, primarily Authorepreneurs, I realized that basically there are two core ways that I’ve seen my clients succeed under my guidance:

  • They launch their books and rank well on Amazon…
  • They build an Authorpreneur platform using online marketing…

What you can expect from me is an unyielding amount of support, and the truth about how to succeed.

If this all sounds good and you want to monetize your message by selling more books and building your online Authorpreneur platform then let’s talk here.
